Scope
This policy covers the Ingré iOS application and the websites operated by Ingre Labs Inc. (ingrelabs.com and ingre.app). We handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy law.
What we collect
- Scan activity. When you scan a product, we process the product information needed to return a result, and store your scan history so you can revisit it.
- Account information. If you create an account, we store the identifier provided by your sign-in method (Sign in with Apple, Google, or email). You can use core features of Ingré without creating an account.
- Photos. If you choose to photograph a product label, the image is used to read the label. Camera access is used only when you initiate a scan.
- Subscription status. Purchases are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of subscription status, not your payment details.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not show advertising or share data with advertisers.
- We do not accept payment from food brands to influence results.
Where data lives
User data is stored with established cloud infrastructure providers using industry-standard security practices.
Retention and deletion
You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app, or by emailing support@ingre.app. Deletion requests are honoured within 30 days.
Children
Ingré is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
